Birmingham City team news and predicted XI for Hull as Lukas Jutkiewicz starts

Birmingham City host Hull City in an FA Cup Third Round replay tonight.

Birmingham City go into their second game under new boss Tony Mowbray, after the former Sunderland manager earned a 2-2 draw against Swansea City in his opening game.

His Blues side came from behind twice to seal the point. Tonight though is a different test with Birmingham City hosting a strong Hull side; the Tigers sit in 9th place of the Championship table and drew the opening FA Cup clash with Birmingham City 1-1.

Birmingham City team news

Birmingham City remain without some key first-team players as their injury list fails to let up.

Defenders Ethan Laird and Marc Roberts remain sidelined, along with George Hall and long-term absentee Alfie Chang.

Birmingham Live say that Mowbray is expected to start second-choice goalkeeper Neil Etheridge tonight in what would be his fourth cup appearance of the season.

Cody Drameh has also been tipped to start at right-back.

How will Tony Mowbray line up tonight?

Expect Mowbray to use this game as another get-to-know-you session with his new squad.

He could make a handful of changes and give certain players a chance to impress; he did so with Scott Hogan against Swansea and so we could see some more brought out of the dark for this one.

Jordan James looks set to start after coming off the bench to score the equaliser against the Swans, whilst Keshi Anderson looks poised to make his first start after returning from injury.

Elsewhere, the likes of Juniho Bacuna, Emanuel Aiwu, and Tyler Roberts could all be in line for starts after all three started on the bench last weekend.

Expect a strong team overall with Mowbray surely keen to try and build some momentum.
