Birmingham are set to miss out on signing Sory Kaba after a fee has been agreed with Spanish side Las Palmas.
According to Danish outlet BT, the Midtjylland striker is set to join the Spanish second tier side after the two agreed a fee believed to be around 1.5 million.
Kaba had attracted plenty of Championship interest, with the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Watford also looking at the striker.
Birmingham had also agreed a fee for the 28-year-old, but it seems he is destined for a move to Spain.
How big of a blow to Birmingham is missing out on Sory Kaba?

The Guinea international spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, where he scored eight goals and got one assist in 17 games to steer the Bluebirds away from relegation.
He joined Midtjylland back in July 2019 from French side Dijon, and has spent the majority of the last two seasons away from the club, having spent the 21/22 season out on loan in Belgium with OH Leuven.
Since returning to Denmark, Kaba has made four appearances in the Danish Superliga, not scoring so far.
This will be a blow for the Blues as Kaba was their priority target, and they will now have to move on to other targets. But with plenty of other Championship sides reportedly looking at bringing a striker in, the market is very competitive, so Birmingham will have to move quickly if they are to secure the services of a frontman before the transfer window closes.
