Birmingham City midfielder Ivan Sunjjc has said that shame should be brought on his former manager Pal Dardai after Sunjic’s training ground dismissal.
At the end of last season when Sunjic was on loan at Hertha Berlin, Dardai returned to the German side for the third time after the sacking of Sandro Schwarz.
A week after returning, Dardai dismissed Sunjic from one of his training sessions in front of a number of TV cameras.
Sunjic said that he should feel shame after the dismissal, with all the German Media going for Dardai rather than Sunjic.
“When that happened I got plenty of messages from people who know me and who I am,” Sunjic told Birmingham Live. “I don’t feel the need to go public.
“When the video was published, he did that on purpose. All German media went on him, not me, and I know I didn’t do anything bad. That’s on him, shame on him.”
Sunjic still took confidence from loan spell despite bad end

Ivan Sunjic went on to explain that despite the bad end to his season out in Germany, he did gain some confidence from how he played in the first half of the season.
“To be honest it was a massive experience for me.
“When I first went I played from the start and I played good. I know I can play that level because I showed I can. That was a massive confidence boost, even coming to this season now,” Sunjic said.
“Some non-football stuff happened – I don’t want to talk about that. I shut the door with that. I have shown I can play in the Bundesliga easily. When I played and everything was normal, I played good, so that brought me to this season with much more confidence.”
Sunjic has played in all five of Blues’ Championship games so far this season.
