Birmingham City manager John Eustace has been linked with taking up the manager’s job at Rangers.
According to the Daily Mail, current Rangers manager Michael Beale’s position is under threat after a poor start into the season by Rangers’ standards.
Gers’ lost the Old Firm derby against Celtic on Sunday afternoon 1-0, with fans voicing their displeasure towards Beale after the final whistle.
They are now four points behind their arch rivals in the Scottish Premiership going into the international break.
They were also knocked out of the Champions League by PSV Eindhoven last week, meaning they will be playing in the group stage of the Europa League.
This poor start has caused names to be put forward to the board as they could be looking for a successor early on in the season, with John Eustace being one of those. Rangers are said to be stil wanting the profile of a young up and coming manager, and Eustace fits the bill.
How big a loss would losing John Eustace be?

Losing Eustace would be a massive blow to Birmingham.
The Blues are currently in the play-off places, and are unbeaten so far this season in the Championship, just two points off top spot.
He managed to keep Birmingham up last season despite working with a limited budget and changes behind the scenes, whilst also integrating penalty of young players such as George Hall.
Eustace has also impressed in Coaching roles with Queens Park Rangers and the Republic of Ireland. He was subject to interests from fellow Championship side Swansea City last season.
It would be a massive blow to lose Eustace so early on in the season, with Birmingham finally looking up in the Championship after years of fears of relegation to League One. They have to do everything they can to keep hold of their boss.
